  • Dr.
    Leigh Ann Jasinnas

Dr. Leigh Ann Jasinnas graduated from the University of Delaware in 2009 with a Bachelors degree in Health Behavior Science. During her last semester of college, she gained valuable experience as a health care professional by interning with NASA at the Kennedy Space Center in their health & wellness department. Dr. Leigh Ann Jasinnas is certified in evaluating dysfunctional movement patterns through SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) and uses this tool regularly in her chiropractic evaluation. Dr. Leigh Ann also holds certification as a Level 1 FMT Rocktape Practitioner, a method that uses kinesiology taping for the purposes of rehabilitation, swelling and edema management, neuropathic pain, scar tissue mobility and postural training.

Dr. Leigh Ann Jasinnas is expected to earn her Masters of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine in the fall of 2017 from the University of Western States. Functional medicine is a science-based, patient-centered and systems-oriented approach to helping people achieve and maintain excellent health. This is accomplished primarily through natural methods, with diet and nutrition as the central focus. It is a forefront model for health care practice that seeks to address the causes of disease and dysfunction rather than suppressing symptoms. Founded on a holistic view of health, functional medicine delves deep into the biochemical and genetic individuality of each patient.

Dr. Jasinnas utilizes many chiropractic and soft tissue techniques in her treatment including: Palmer Package (Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead), Functional Movement Screens, Trigger Point Therapy, RockTape, Activator, Spinal Decompression Therapy and Rehabilitative Exercise. With almost 8 years of healthcare experience, her hope is to empower you to take charge of your own health and happiness. Call her at 484.879.6968 to get started on your own wellness journey!

Jessica Kennedy and Dr. Leigh Ann Jasinnas take a "whole person" approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and Treacy and Dr. Jasinnas will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs. Under the supervision and care of our caring and skilled chiropractors, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.
